As Hill correctly points out, Goode is just one example of how Saracens continue to maintain their conveyor belt of talent, with George Kruis and Will Fraser the latest to establish themselves in the first team.
And after Maro Itoje made his first-team debut in the LV= Cup last weekend, Hill believes the inaugural Under-18 league is preparing his players nicely for greater tests ahead.
But the 39-year-old World Cup winner and British and Irish Lion warned each success was very much warranted on a case by case basis but suggested it was a pivotal time in their careers, with a lucrative professional contract up for grabs.
"If you use Alex [Goode] as a good example, there are a number of players that have come through together in that bracket from the youth set-up," said Hill.
"And it has been noticeable that with the exposure of people like him into the first team, it has triggered that desire and understanding from some of the guys that they aren't as far away as they think.
"By the nature of their performances within a good team it has the potential to catapult them into the limelight but the whole selection and exposure in the different teams that we posses will be taken on a case by case basis.
"In terms of certain positions it can be very difficult to get that opportunity to step up now. It is a big ask for the forwards for example because of the physicality of the sport and some cannot bridge that gap.
"But having said that one of our U18s started in the LV= Cup and some have featured in the first team so they are getting that exposure and that number will only increase.
"It is great they are able to compare like for like and see their progression, particularly for those in their last year at U18 level. It is a pivotal time to see if they will pick up a professional contract."
Although frustrated by the weather, Hill's side sit top of the U18 league's southern conference after recording a large 56-7 victory over Harlequins and a 24-10 victory over London Wasps.
And with Bath next up this weekend, Hill believes his young stars are gaining invaluable experience and learning lessons that will suit them right through all levels of rugby.
"We had a very good result against Harlequins in the first game and we have performed very well," he added.
"Unfortunately the weather has taken its toll on a few games but the 4G pitch against Wasps allowed the game to go ahead and that was a great experience for the guys.
"This weekend we have another tough test but that is the purpose of this league, to challenge players with different circumstances and scenarios and get the best to play the best.
"They will have to deal with the various conditions of the pitches and other factors which will give them a better understanding of what could happen for the lucky few in the professional game."
