A top six finish in the Aviva Premiership is their goal and Arr, who has already racked up more than 100 appearances for the Warriors, believes it is not beyond the West Midlands outfit.
"Since Worcester have been in the Prem the ambition has always been Heineken Cup rugby and a top six finish and that's certainly still our goal and it will be until we achieve it," said Arr, who joined the Warriors in 2007. "This year there's been a greater feeling within the squad that it could happen and if not this year then definitely next year.
"I think the strength in depth of our squad has improved greatly and we've been able to cope week-in and week-out with most of the other teams in the Aviva Premiership, which has helped.
"We have had a big investment in our coaching team with the likes of Nigel Redmond, Phil Vickery and Mathieu Rourre from Biarritz coming in to focus on our attack and that has certainly helped."
This season Arr has often had to bide his time waiting for opportunities, with Paul Hodgson and Shaun Perry also fighting for the No.9 jersey.
But the talented youngster remains convinced his home town club is the place to allow him to flourish and nail down a starting spot.
"Over the past few weeks I've seen quite a lot of game time, which I think is especially important for young players who need to be playing as often as they can and be exposed to as much top level rugby as they can," he said.
"I think I'm at the right club to do that and the last two weeks have been good in terms of game time and I'm hoping to push on from there.
"I sat down with Richard and it was a big concern as I didn't want to be at a club where I wasn't playing regularly, but he agreed that as long as I was working hard and kept progressing that kind of opportunity will happen at Worcester Warriors."
If Arr and Worcester are to achieve their goals this season they will have to cut out results like last weekend's 46-24 defeat to London Irish, which has made qualification for the next stage of the LV=Cup all but impossible.
But while understandably disappointed, the half-back is positive the Warriors can bounce back - starting with this Saturday's LV=Cup visit of Saracens.
"It was massively disappointing to lose and in the end to lose quite convincingly to a very strong London Irish side," admitted Arr. "But having played in the game and looked at it our defence just wasn't up to scratch and that's definitely something we've worked hard on this week.
"If there are any positives we can take from it, it's that we were 20-3 down at half time and came back to score three tries away from home in the second half which is always good."
