Back in October, Williams' first-half try was pivotal as Bath ran out 23-15 winners on home soil in the Aviva Premiership, before they were held to a 12-12 draw at Sandy Park just before the New Year.
And despite admitting the sides have become accustom to each other of late - with both aware of the other's strengths - the 23-year-old expects the visitors to pose a serious challenge.
And sitting in second place behind Northampton Saints in Pool 4, Williams insists his Bath side have trained hard and are well prepared for the shift of focus to the LV= Cup.
"We've played Exeter twice this season already so we know pretty much what they're going to bring and to be fair they know the same about us," said Williams.
"They play some excellent rugby so we know it's going to be a tough challenge but we've trained hard this week and we're really looking forward to it.
"We know Exeter have got some great players and they will be up for the challenge but they are coming to the Rec and we will be ready for it.
"They play a great brand of rugby so it's never a good time to play them because we know they can be dangerous anywhere on the field.
"I'd probably describe my try as a flop over the line from ten metres but I suppose it was more of a team try, we went through a lot of phases and I just had to run it in. It shows what we can do."
Speaking in a similar trend, returning Exeter back-rower Kai Horstmann believes his side must neutralise Bath's set-piece threat if they want to come away with the victory.
The 31-year-old, looking to kick-start his Chiefs career which so far has been hampered by injury, will lead the side and wants to maintainExeter's 100 per cent record in the competition.
"There is no reason why we can't be Bath," said Horstmann. "We will bring a lot of intensity and energy at the weekend and we are not looking past them at all.
"They have a very good set piece - they revolve a lot of their game around it. The conditions might be tricky and we might not be able to play a lot of rugby in them.
"But we have done as much analysis as we can and hopefully we have learnt from playing them twice already this season.
"We have done well in this tournament previously so we want to push on and ensure qualification.
"There are a huge amount of guys who haven't played as much rugby as they would have liked but they want to do the club proud."
