It is a blow for their European ambitions, as they look to turn a two-point advantage in their pool into qualification for the quarter-finals, and also makes the 24-year-old a doubt for England's opening Six Nations clash with Scotland on 2 February.
But McCall is confident the club will be able to call on Goode for Sarries' first-ever encounter at Allianz Park, the LV=Cup clash with Cardiff Blues on 27 January.
Goode's form this season has been a key reason for their strong position in the Aviva Premiership table - where they currently sit just two points behind league-leaders and reigning champions Harlequins.
And, with the club currently challenging for trophies on three fronts, and with it all to play for in both the LV= Cup and Heineken Cup, McCall is convinced Goode will be fit to do a job for both club and country in the coming weeks.
"Alex has a shoulder injury - a tear in his shoulder - and at the minute we are looking at a non-surgical route," said McCall.
"There's a chance he might be fit in two or three weeks time but it all depends on how his rehab goes in the next couple of weeks.
"If he makes the progress we hope he makes he's got a great chance of being available for the Six Nations.
"I think England may want him to play in a game or two, maybe in the LV=Cup before that, but he's got a chance - it all depends on how these next couple of weeks go.
"England have been in the loop the whole way - there's no issues there at all - and it was felt that the non-surgical route was the best route to attempt."
