Neil Briggs has been suspended for three weeks following an RFU Disciplinary Hearing at the offices of Russell Jones and Walker Solicitors tonight (January 8).
The London Welsh hooker is sidelined from January 8 to January 29 and free to play again on January 30.
He appeared before a panel of Jeremy Summers (chair), Dr Julian Morris and Philip Evans after being charged for Punching or Striking, contrary to law 10.4(a) on Harlequins player Sam Smith in the Aviva Premiership match between the sides on January 6.
