Phil Winstanley, Rugby Director at Premier Rugby added, "It is unfortunate to lose the Harlequins match today. The playing surface was fit to play but the surrounding access areas were deemed to be too dangerous. With the forecasted conditions over the next 48 hours, I believe that we have taken the right decision to prevent unnecessary travel for supporters and players.
"We will now work with Harlequins and Leeds to look at dates when the match can be played. As with all the other postponed fixtures, we will have a better idea when that may be after rounds five and six of European competition later this month."
